Responsibilities:

1. Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
2. Provide assistance with mobility, transfers, and positioning of patients, ensuring their safety and comfort.
3. Serve meals and assist patients with feeding, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences.
4. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rate.
5. Help with the collection of specimens for laboratory testing and perform basic medical procedures under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
6. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, promoting their overall well-being.
7. Maintain a clean and hygienic patient environment, including changing bed linens, tidying rooms, and ensuring infection control protocols are followed.
8. Assist with the organization and maintenance of medical supplies and equipment.
9. Document patient observations, activities, and any changes in condition accurately and promptly.
10. Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
