As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting physical therapists in providing rehabilitative care to patients. Your responsibilities will include preparing treatment areas, assisting with exercises and therapeutic activities, and ensuring a smooth flow of operations within the physical therapy department. Responsibilities:

1. Prepare treatment areas and equipment for physical therapy sessions, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
2. Assist patients in performing exercises and therapeutic activities as prescribed by the physical therapist.
3. Provide support and guidance to patients during their therapy sessions, ensuring safety and adherence to proper techniques.
4. Set up and monitor modalities and assistive devices under the supervision of the physical therapist.
5. Maintain accurate records of patient progress, treatments provided, and other relevant information.
6. Escort patients to and from treatment areas, ensuring their comfort and safety.
7. Prepare and assist with patient transfers and positioning as required.
8. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members to provide updates and address any concerns.
9. Keep track of inventory and supplies, notifying appropriate personnel when replenishment is needed.
10. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized physical therapy department, including equipment sterilization and general tidiness.
