We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Tile Setter to join our team. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of tile surfaces in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your expertise in preparing surfaces, setting tile patterns, and applying grout and sealant will play a crucial role in achieving high-quality and visually appealing tile installations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, levelling, and removing debris or existing flooring materials.
• Measure and mark the area to determine the layout and pattern of tiles, ensuring accuracy and alignment.
• Cut tiles to the required size using tile cutters or power tools, ensuring precise and clean cuts.
• Mix and apply adhesive or mortar to the substrate, spreading it evenly to create a solid and secure bond.
• Set tiles in the desired pattern, aligning them properly and ensuring consistent spacing.
• Apply grout between tiles, removing excess grout and smoothing the surface to achieve a uniform appearance.
• Install and secure tile trim and edging to give the installation a finished and professional look.
• Seal tile surfaces and apply appropriate coatings to protect against moisture and staining.
• Repair or replace damaged tiles, identifying the cause of the damage and ensuring a seamless repair.
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver satisfactory results.
